Here Are The Top 3 Talented K-Pop Vocalists According To Music Producers

Talented kings and queens!

Although there are numerous amounts of talented idols in the K-Pop industry, people were curious to know as to which idols music producers believed to be the most talented. A producer gave his thoughts on 3 talented vocalists in K-Pop and emphasized that this was not chosen in terms of ranking but just his overall thoughts about these three idol members.

He set three ground rules for choosing these three artists: the variety of genres they sing, how wide their vocal range is, and their history as both a group and a solo artist. The comments about the artists are from feedback from various music producers in Korea.

The first artist he talks about is former Wanna One member Kim Jae Hwan. He believes that his voice when singing rock ballad or acoustic is very skilled for being from an idol background. He was the most shocked at his range as he is able to sing it with such ease. The producers felt that it was his voice that hard-carried the songs for Wanna One. His ability to sing live and produce such high notes with such stability is another factor that makes him a great vocalist. Although his history in the field is still small as he is still up and coming, many of the producers who gave feedback about him stated that he is one of the most anticipated solo singers in the market.

The next artist he mentions is MAMAMOO’s Hwasa. Among the producers who left feedback, the votes were tied with Wheein and Hwasa. Although both talented, basing it off of the previous mentioned guidelines, the producer cast his last vote to Hwasa. They felt that she was a singer that knew what her strengths were and knew how to express them to its full potential. He also commented on her unique vocal sound and believed that she had an incomparable voice tone.

Although the acoustic ballad style may not be her forte it is not because she is bad but rather because she is so good in the dance, R&B, and hip-hop genres. Hwasa’s vocal range is in the mid and local tones but she is able to make it her own without needing any high notes. In terms of activity record, there are a numerous amount of hit songs by MAMAMOO and many of Hwasa’s solo tracks have topped charts as well.
