Super Junior’s 10th full album, titled The Renaissance, was originally slated to be released in December 2020. A pre-release single had also been released ahead of the album on November 6, 2020, to celebrate the group’s 15th debut anniversary, titled “The Melody”.

In a statement, Label SJ first announced that the album had been postponed from December 2020 to January 2021. On January 8, however, there was another statement announcing the delay of the album yet again, from January 2021 to February 16, 2021.
