BTS’s J-Hope Talks About His Trainee Days And How Close He Was To Quitting

J-Hope was able to continue thanks to his mother.

Being a K-Pop trainee isn’t easy, and BTS‘s J-Hope recently spoke about how difficult his trainee days were.

In a recent episode of tvN‘s You Quiz On The Block, J-Hope honestly shared that there were many times during his trainee days where he wanted to quit.

There were lots of things J-Hope was unable to do because he was a trainee, such as playing games and being with his family.

J-Hope endured all of this since he was passionate about becoming a singer.

However, there was one time when J-Hope left the group when he was a trainee. This was an emotional moment, and Jungkook cried when J-Hope said he was leaving. Thankfully, J-Hope changed his mind since he trusted the members.

J-Hope also shared that getting asked when he was debuting was the toughest question since even he didn’t know.

J-Hope then spoke about how much his mother helped him during his trainee days. Every time J-Hope visited his parents, his mother would be supportive of him and helped push him forward.

Thanks to his mother, J-Hope was able to continue pursuing his dreams.
