“DAZED” magazine interviews Masta Wu and Bobby for “Come Here”

After the successful release of Masta Wu‘s newest single, “Come Here” featuring Dok2 and iKON‘s Bobby, DAZED has brought to fans an exclusive interview with two of the three rappers of YG Entertainment‘s newest hip hop collaboration project.

Masta Wu, a veteran rapper of YG Entertainment, has finally made an official comeback to the Korean hip hop scene with the release of his newest single, “Come Here”, in which he collaborated with solo rapper Dok2 and iKON’s Bobby. The hip hop track has successfully showcased a very rhythmic beat and smooth flow of rap through a fierce and refreshing music video.

In light of this hot collaboration group, also known as YG Hip Hop Project, DAZED magazine has surprised many fans of both Masta Wu and Bobby with an exclusive interview in which they talk about the process of coming up with this unexpected collaboration project as well as how Bobby has been feeling working alongside senior rappers at such an early stage of his rookie career.

Not at all. The promotion built up the suspense, but from the beginning we just wanted to make a dope song. It’s great to see the excitement in the fans though,” answered Masta Wu when asked about whether or not it was their intention to form such an unpredictable group of rappers to purposely blow the public’s minds.

Bobby, on the other hand, spoke about his other recent collaboration with his fellow YG Entertainment seniors Epik High and their song “Born Hater” featuring Beenzino, Verbal Jint, Mino of WINNER, and iKON’s B.I, and also talked about how his experiences working with senior rappers has helped him to become a better rapper.

The two YG Entertainment rappers have opened up their thoughts regarding this new release and have shown their anticipation for future activities. See what Masta Wu and Bobby had to say, here, in the full interview!
