The Roaring Currents have made it to Japan. The Korean film will be exported to 11 countries including Japan, according to company CJ E&M on October 18th. Contract for the film to be exported was made during the “Asia Film Market” held in BEXCO earlier this year.

Fully titled The Admiral: Roaring Currents, the movie depicts a historical event of Battle of Myeongrang led by Yi Soon Shin, one of the greatest generals of Korea’s history. The media is predicting positive reviews as the film is about an Eastern historical war, which is not so familiar to Europe and America.
