Sungjae sings a “Love Song” as “School 2015” finale OST and ranks #1 on music charts

BTOB‘s Sungjae, who introduced himself as a sub-sub-vocal of the group despite his impressive performances on King of Masked Singer, has lent his voice for “Love Song,” a soundtrack OST for KBS drama Who Are You – School 2015.

The drama series recently ended with its 16th episode on June 16th, breaking its own viewership rating record for the finale.

Sungjae, who is one of the male leads starring alongside Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim So Hyun, showed his all-roundedness as an actor-dol with the release of “Love Song.” Featuring K-Pop Star 4‘s Park Hye Soo, the song was introduced in the last few episodes of the drama and officially released on music sites on June 16th.

The guitar melody complements Sungjae’s sweet vocals, with an added tint of cuteness in it. Shortly after the release, “Love Song” claimed the number one spot on five Korea music sites, namely Soribada, Mnet, Monkey3, Genie, and Olleh. It is also ranked #3 overall on Instiz’s iChart, right behind Baek A Yeon‘s “Shouldn’t Have” and BIGBANG‘s “BANG BANG BANG.”

Despite completing the drama, Sungjae will still continue to be busy, as BTOB is slated for a June 29th comeback and was spotted filming We Got Married with Red Velvet‘s Joy yesterday.
