Japanese actress Yoko Maki, best known for her role in the 2013 film Like Father, Like Son, is making headlines once again — this time with exciting news about her growing family.

In 2023, Yoko surprised fans when she revealed her relationship with actor Shin Katsushika, who is 16 years her junior. The couple caught attention not only for their notable age gap but also for living together in what Yoko described as a “de facto marriage,” choosing to share their lives without formal legal registration.

Now, the pair is ready to take their relationship to the next level: Yoko announced she is pregnant! On her YouTube channel, which she runs alongside her brother, Yoko shared the joyful news dressed in a relaxed khaki dress that subtly revealed her baby bump. She said, “I, Yoko Maki, am pregnant. I’m already at the stage where I can feel the baby moving.”

Yoko was previously married to actor Reo Katayama, with whom she shares her 16-year-old daughter. The couple divorced in 2015 after seven years of marriage.
