Agency Founder Announces Multiple Groups’ Disbandments At The Same Time

They were re-invited to audition.

The founder and former director of WACK, a Japanese agency, has announced the disbandment of several of its groups.

Junnosuke Watanabe published a “Declaration of Defeat” through the site Natalie Music, where he shared that girl groups GANG PARADE, KiSS KiSS, ExWHYZ, ASP, and coed group BiTE A SHOCK would all disband.

He called the agency’s time so far the “first chapter,” and stated that the company would reboot in 2027. The only unit that will not disband is MAMESHIBA NO TAiGUN, which was created under a partnership with Tower Records.

Even stranger, the “past” WACK artists were invited to re-audition for the company, which is said to now have a more global focus.
