3-Year-Old Girl Group Disbands, Says Their Final Goodbye To Fans
After just three years together, a girl group with a unique signature sound is disbanding.
Tokyo-based rock idol trio AKUMATICA made their stage debut on February 28, 2023. The final lineup consists of Hirono Sara, Suina Yui, and Yamamura Saku. Former member Hayuru left the group on April 1, 2025. Formed under the busibusy traxx label, AKUMATICA quickly gained attention in Japan’s vibrant idol and rock scene.

In an official statement posted on the group’s website, busibusy traxx announced that AKUMATICA would officially disband on March 2, 2026 after their final concert at Daikanyama SPACE ODD in Tokyo, the venue where they debuted. This decision was reached after the members discussed the group’s future activities and their own individual futures.

Over the course of their career, AKUMATICA carved out a distinct musical identity characterized by punchy rock instrumentation paired with catchy idol-style hooks. They released their first full album, MEGATON PUNCH!!!, in February 2024 and several digital singles that showcased their evolving sound. Give them a listen here:
