Divorced Actress Reveals How She Met Her Rumored New Boyfriend
A twice-divorced singer-actress has shared new details about her relationship with the man she has been making headlines with since January.
Last summer, Malaysian star Bella Astillah and Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz divorced for the second time after a string of scandals. At a press conference, Bella claimed her ex-husband had cheated on her with 11 women, including her own sister.
In January, rumors arose that Bella is now dating Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, a Malaysian politician, after they filmed a dance challenge together for TikTok. Although the two haven’t officially confirmed their relationship, moments such as Syed Saddiq’s romantic grand gesture and his own mother comparing him and Bella to Romeo and Juliet have kept the rumor mill running.
Syed Saddiq isn’t shy about singing Bella’s praises. After his court hearing, which Bella attended, the politician told reporters, “She is an extraordinary woman, and I am indebted.” He also defined “beauty” as “Bella Astillah” while they filmed a recent TikTok video together.
In April, Bella shared the story of how she and Syed Saddiq (whom she calls YB in the video) first met. As fate would have it, the rumored couple became acquainted at a radio station three years ago.
