Boy Group Member Puts Sasaeng On Blast, Kicking Them Out Of In-Person Event
While there are positive aspects to being a popular celebrity, unfortunately, there are several downsides, including intrusive fans. Stalker fans, often known universally as sasaengs, follow celebrities outside of their public schedules in the worst way, including trailing them to their homes.
Idols have sometimes struck back against these stalker fans, either with words or physically.

Recently, a boy group member directly confronted one such fan face-to-face.
In 2018, the Chinese idol survival show Idol Producer aired, showing the creation of NINE PERCENT. Like other shows, spinoff groups also formed, including the now three-membered boy group ONER.

During a recent event, member Ling Chao took the time to call out a fan in attendance during the fansign, who was reportedly known to be a sasaeng of the group. He called them out clearly, referring to their seat position and questioning why they were there.
He even asked if they were going to leave or if he should kick them out.
The 7th row, 3rd seat to the left. Are you going to get lost or do you want me to kick you out? The 7th row from bottom up, the 3rd seat to my left. Stop pretending, I AM talking about YOU. The person holding a camera to block your own face.
— Ling Chao
The rest of the event did not seem to have issues, and Ling Chao appeared calm down after the confrontation.
