Former Co-Stars Announce Their Marriage, Unveil Romantic Wedding Photos
An actress and actor have gone from being onscreen lovers to real-life spouses.
In 2019, Hong Kong actors Cecilia Choi and Terrance Lau co-starred in the romantic drama film Beyond the Dream. Though they began falling in love on set, they didn’t begin dating until after filming wrapped.
So, at that time, I planned to focus on only work. I insisted on not crossing the line during the entire filming process and maintained a professional relationship with her, and I only dealt with my relationship seriously after filming was completed.
There was a scene filmed at a light rail station where the emotions were so intense. Although I felt exhausted after each take, [Choi] was right there the entire time, encouraging me. I think that’s when I fell in love with her.

Now, six years later, Lau and Choi have tied the knot! Their agency broke the news on October 14, confirming that the couple had gotten married in an intimate ceremony in Tokyo, Japan.
Lau and Choi also personally announced the news on Instagram with beautiful wedding photos. They captioned the post, “Thank you God for loving us. We are married!” Check out the rest of their photos below:
