Former Child Actor Shinsaku Shimazaki Passes Away Days Before Birthday, Death Kept Hidden For A Month
The Japanese entertainment industry was left shocked to its core after it was recently revealed that popular child actor Shinsaku Shimazaki had passed away.

The 32-year-old reportedly died after suffering a brain haemorrhage on September 6. His family chose to keep this tragedy private and gave him a quiet funeral. As per NHK, the news was only revealed on October 7, jolting the industry to its core.
Fans and colleagues were left grief-stricken, and what made this tragedy even more heartbreaking was that the actor passed away just four days before his 33rd birthday. His management agency published a statement, mourning the actor and remembering his warm personality.
A graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts, Shinsaku Shimazaki became a well-known child star through his performances in various stage plays. After stepping into acting, he performed with the theater group, Hot Generation, and essentially grew up in the public eye. He was largely considered a promising young talent by both the public and the industry. Fellow Japanese artists have taken to social media to express their grief over his untimely passing, and they have also confirmed that a tribute and a memorial event will be held later in October to honor Shimazaki.
