Idol Got Fired From Her Group — Found Success As An Adult Star
For some who embark on the path of becoming an idol, the glitz and glam can sometimes distract from the reality of the situation. Idols are subjected to numerous rules that even control what they eat on a day-to-day basis at times.

For Haruno Eri, her idol path contained more than one circumstance where rules affected her career. When she was still in high school, she was called to audition for different groups, but withdrew over rules including hair color.
Eventually, she made her debut as a member of SAY-LA in January 2015.

However, just 9 months later, she was removed from the group due to “a serious rule violation,” and subsequently began working at a maid cafe, where she heard about AV (adult video) actress’s idol-like activities. She then went to AV agencies to get closer, and eventually was hired by C-More Entertainment.
It was under this agency she made her official debut in The Last Idol Debut, based on her experience of rejecting major groups. She also changed her name to Yume Mite Uta.

She was active in the industry until early 2021, when she stated she was now a regular citizen and by December of that year said she had retired. However, in February 2022, she announced she was changing her name to Yumemite Uta and would again be active in the adult industry.
Since then, she has appeared in more adult works, including in 2025.
