Top Boy Group Member Revealed To Have Been Paid Hundreds Of Thousands Through Alleged “Marriage Scam”

A shocking controversy has surfaced involving BE:FIRST member Ryoki Miyama, as reports reveal he was allegedly involved in a relationship that spiraled into what some are calling a “marriage scam” worth 100 million JPY (approx $704,000 USD).

According to investigative reports, Miyama began a secret relationship in 2021 with Akari Ono, a successful entrepreneur in the fashion industry. Known online as R-Chan, Ono is a well-known YouTuber with a following of approximately 850,000 subscribers. At the time of their meeting, she was an established apparel CEO, while Miyama was still in the early stages of his idol career.

Despite a significant age gap, the two reportedly became romantically involved and eventually entered an informal engagement. During their relationship, Ono is said to have showered Miyama with expensive gifts, including a luxury Mercedes-Benz, a 10 million JPY (approx $70,000 USD) watch, and a staggering monthly allowance of 2 million JPY (approx $14,000 USD).

However, the relationship began to deteriorate after allegations of Miyama’s infidelity emerged. What started as a secret love affair quickly devolved into a high-profile dispute, culminating in a bitter fallout between the two. People began calling it a marriage scam as Ono had showered Miyama with monetary gifts and more due to their promised engagement, only to find out that he was cheating on her. The situation further escalated when Shukan Bunshun, a major Japanese tabloid, revealed they had obtained two video recordings allegedly related to the case—sparking widespread speculation online. These videos have yet to be released to the public.

Ryoki Miyama is a member of BE:FIRST, a 7-member Japanese boy group formed through the audition program THE FIRST, produced by SKY-HI. The group officially debuted in November 2021 and quickly gained popularity for their sharp performances, vocal talent, and individual charm.
