News sources reported that former AKB48 member Matsui Jurina would be getting married this year. The girl group member is beloved and known to many fans both for her activities in Japan and for her appearance on the Korean survival show Produce 48.

Her future husband, Tsujimoto Tatsumori of boy group Boys and Men, confirmed the relationship, and the pair recently appeared at a press conference. Both idols were dressed in traditional kimonos.

Tsujimoto Tatsumori is a very handsome man and only six years older than Jurina, something many fans were pleased by. Many cited the number of idols that marry men that are not perceived as as “handsome” and are sometimes decades older as part of their reason for happiness with this relationship.
