Former Co-Star Accidentally Involves Himself In Popular Actress’s Affair Controversy
A popular actress has been making headlines recently for a dating scandal: an alleged affair with a married actor and two-timing another actor. Recently, however, yet another actor’s name was added to the drama.
On April 23, news outlets reported that actress Nagano Mei had been caught two-timing with her Caster co-star Kim Moo Jun and her former co-star, Japanese actor Tanaka Kei, who is married with two children. Recently, suggestive text messages allegedly sent by Tanaka and Nagano were leaked online.
Although Caster is airing as scheduled, both Nagano and Tanaka are facing criticism. Their public images have taken a hit that could potentially affect their commercial contracts and future work.
So, how does actor Bando Ryota fit into all of this? Bando and Nagano previously co-starred in the 2022 J-Drama Riding A Unicorn.

At the time, netizens speculated that Bando and Nagano might be dating due to their natural chemistry and rumored “couple” items, such as their matching phone cases and matching nail polish. Nagano reportedly denied these dating rumors.
Recently, Bando’s official X (Twitter) account reposted an article about the fallout Nagano is facing because of her alleged affair with Tanaka. Netizens managed to screenshot the repost before it was quickly taken down. It is unclear if Bando personally reposted the tweet, however, since his management reportedly operates the account for him.
