A female ex-teacher is under investigation for sex crimes with a male minor and possibly other underage male victims.

According to Singapore’s Ministry of Education, the former educator–a 40-year-old woman–was suspended from duty in November 2023 and has since been fired. She is facing a total of 26 charges related to repeatedly engaging in sexual activities with at least one minor in 2023. The charges include having sex with an underage boy, procuring an obscene act from a minor, and partaking in actions that could obstruct the investigation.
[We take] a serious view of staff misconduct and will not hesitate to take disciplinary action against those who fail to adhere to our standards of conduct and discipline, including dismissal from service.

At this time, a gag order prevents the woman’s name from being published. A separate gag order also prevents details about a particular school, which is reportedly connected to her case, from being disclosed. As such, the woman’s link to the victim(s) has not been revealed, and it is unknown how many victims are mentioned in the court documents, as all information about them has been redacted.
In 2023, between March and September, the woman allegedly had a video call with a male minor while both she and the minor were bathing, asked a male minor to send her nudes, and had sex with a male minor in her car. In 2024, she also allegedly deleted text messages, which has now led to her obstruction of justice charge. She allegedly deleted the messages between October 25 and 26 in 2024.

The pre-trial conference for this case will be held in April, 2026.
