Former Girl Group Member Admits To Selling N*des Due To Financial Struggle

She wants to warn other girls.

Fans were shocked after Taiwanese celebrity Amy Yeh revealed a painful story from her past, turning her experience into a warning for young women everywhere.

The now 42-year-old star, who was once a member of the disbanded girl group Fantasy 4, opened up on the variety show Zhen Zhen You Ci. She shared that when she was just starting out as a model, she fell into massive credit card debt of over $2 million TWD ($65,377 USD).

At the time, her manager arranged what was supposed to be a simple hotel fashion shoot. However, the location suddenly changed to a beach, and the concept shifted to swimwear. Eventually, both the manager and photographer pressured her to pose completely nude.

Amy recalled being reassured that everything was safe.

“They told me the team would sign a confidentiality agreement. I even saw the photographer sign a waiver. They offered $30,000 TWD ($980.66 USD) per photo… and in the end, I agreed.”

But that decision would haunt her. Despite the NDA, her nude photos were leaked online in 2005 after she entered the entertainment industry. The contract was useless, and she was devastated to realize she had no legal protection.

She now wants her story to serve as a cautionary tale/ Although Amy came from a wealthy family — her father was once chairman of a major security company — she started chasing stardom at just 14 years old through talent competitions. By the time she entered showbiz, she was financially independent and rarely relied on her family. Today, Amy earns a modest income and lives happily with her husband and their son.
