Fans outraged at mistreatment of BTOB at SBS Gayo Daejun

Accidents happen at every music show each year, but there seems to be a group that has constant issues with a certain broadcast company constantly.

BTOB can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to their appearances at the annual SBS Gayo Daejun. Every year, the group faces some problem at broadcasting channel SBS‘s end of the year festival.

2014 Gayo Daejun

In 2014, the group did a special collaboration stage with Apink. Unfortunately, the collboration didn’t turn out as Melody (BTOB fans) imagined. The boys only sang for roughly 40 seconds before the song switched over to Apink. They were then essentially reduced to backup dancers for the girls during their “Mr. Chu” stage, with only one member singing a small portion of of the song.

2015 Gayo Daejun

In 2015, a staff member backstage was heard saying, “What the f–k they’re doing a musical again?” In the video, the group can be seen taken aback by the commentary.

Additionally, the chairs were not properly arranged and required the members to re-position them during their performance. Toward the end of the song, the group’s MR also randomly turned on.  According to fans, the original performance was supposed to be four minutes long, but had been shortened to under three minutes.

2016 Gayo Daejun

This year, Melody were once again left annoyed by the lack of respect towards BTOB. This year rookie groups were allowed to perform 2 songs, and some even had VCR intros. But veteran group BTOB was only allowed to performed one song, and even that was cut short. Watch their performance below:
