ARMY Reimagines BTS 2022 FESTA Portraits By Unwhitewashing Them

FESTA season is upon us! Every year, BTS honor their June 13 debut with a release of new content, and this year, they are celebrating their 9th anniversary.

BTS kicked off the celebration with brand new “family portraits,” a tradition since 2014.

Still, ARMYs were disappointed in the choices made by the photo editors. They recognized that the members looked unusually pale due to over-editing to give them clearer and whitened skin.

One ARMY, in particular, took it into their own hands and re-edited the 2022 FESTA family portraits, attempting to restore BTS’s natural complexions. Dani (@B0KITAE on Twitter) went through all of the photos released, editing every individual one until the members looked more like themselves again!
