ITZY has made their debut in February 2019, where they quickly established themselves as one of the Monster Rookies of this year, with “Dalla Dalla” being the debut song with the most music show wins in K-Pop history!
It is safe to say that ITZY has been generating a lot of hype these past few months as they have been capitalising on their popularity with the general public.
Not only have they shown their popularity through music, but they have also proven to have an astoundingly high brand reputation.
During the monthly brand reputation ranking based on consumer surveys, media and communication data, and community data, ITZY placed fourth out of all K-Pop groups in terms of brand reputation for June 2019. They were right behind their seniors TWICE who were in third place.
That’s even more impressive when you consider that ITZY’s last music release was in four months prior and they only have two songs.
It is clear that ITZY has commanded an outstanding brand reputation and that is best evidenced by all the brands they have sponsored in just four months of being idols!
1. Kia Motors
Within just weeks after debut, one of South Korea’s biggest automobile manufacturers had signed ITZY for a music video collaboration to promote the Kia Soul.
Perhaps Kia was just as enamoured as fans were with the famous car scene in “Dalla Dalla”.
2. M.A.C Cosmetics
In April, ITZY collaborated with this internationally famous makeup brand for a photoshoot on Cosmopolitan Korea for the April 2019 issue.
While all the members looked stunning with nude lipsticks and warm contours for the front cover, fans couldn’t help but praise how beautiful Yeji looked in particular.
3. Louis Vuitton
This fashion giant extended an invitation for the ITZY members to attend the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2020 Show where they stole the show with their looks from the Fall/Winter 2019 collection.
Not only that, but they also got to meet other famous celebrities like Joe Jonas and personally got gifted handbags from Louis Vuitton! Bonus!
LOTTE announced that ITZY would be part of the lineup for the 2019 Lotte Duty Free Family Concert in August which intends to promote the multinational company and also to showcase the Hallyu Wave.
As one of the brightest rookie idols, it seems fitting that ITZY would be invited to attend such an event.
Just in time for summer, the girls modelled for the active wear brand ANDAR where they looked comfortable in their leggings. Definitely makes you want to go out for a run after seeing these pictures.
6. SHOPEE Thailand
This e-commerce platform is huge in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, having already enlisted the endorsements of other K-Pop idols.
While there have been no advertisements released as of yet, the SHOPEE Thailand Twitter account did release this cryptic tweet featuring some very familiar lyrics.

With ITZY collaborating with brands with such high name recognition, it is no wonder the group ranks so highly with brand reputation.
With ITZY’s first comeback coming in July, many fans are eagerly anticipating more success and popularity for ITZY to come in the future.
