Recently, BTS‘s Jungkook has been romantically linked to multiple women, including aespa‘s Winter. Here is a recap of their latest dating rumors and how they began.
1. July 2025
Some of the earliest dating rumors began this past summer, when a post on Nate Pann went viral. The OP claimed that Winter and Jungkook’s in-ears were couple items…
…and that they had been spotted wearing matching hats. The OP also alleged that the idols’ shared love for the gym was proof of their relationship. At the time, these claims were met with ridicule.
In July, netizens claimed that the idols’ matching nail polish also proved they were dating. Jungkook was spotted at an airport with this nail polish not long after Winter sported similar nail polish during a performance.
That same month, Jungkook changed his Instagram username to @mnijungkook. Some netizens believed the “mni” could be a subtle reference to Winter’s real name, Minjeong, reading it as “MinJungkook.” Fans also discovered that the account had been created months earlier. The original handle was reportedly @imjungkook, which matches Winter’s Instagram handle @imwinter.

2. August 2025
On August 9, Winter shared an Instagram post featuring the song “Weather” by Novo Amor. Days later, on August 14, Jungkook shared the same song on his story.
The two idols also used “Devotion” by Justin Bieber on posts that featured added emojis, an additional bit of “proof.”
3. October 2025
At the end of October, some netizens claimed that Jungkook had worn one of several “couple items” he and Winter allegedly share–a matching bracelet–during a live broadcast.
His phone case is also similar to the phone case Winter had in her October 30 Instagram story with Giselle.
4. November 2025
At the beginning of November, a viral post on Nate Pann claimed that Jungkook’s mention of pizza during his live broadcast was linked to Winter. Winter had posted a photo of pizza on her Instagram story. This claim was swiftly met with ridicule, but it’s not the only “proof” netizens drummed up that month.
Some netizens tried to string multiple pieces of “evidence” together to support their claims, such as Jungkook stating that he would not be going live for the next couple of days after his November 4th stream, and a photo of him standing in a window of the Chrome Hearts store in Aoyama, Tokyo, Japan. At the time, aespa was in Japan as part of their SYNK: aeXIS Line World Tour.
On November 11, a video clip of a man (allegedly Jungkook) walking towards his home while holding hands with a woman made headlines. Some netizens have claimed that the woman is Winter. A popular model and a well-known actress have also been linked to the video.

5. December 2025
On December 4, new dating “proof” went viral due to the release of Are You Sure?!’s new season. In a Nate Pann post, a netizen shared a photo of Jungkook with a tattoo that seemingly matched one Winter was seen with. While the OP mentioned that some fans are claiming it’s fake, they also shared that it was visible at 15:23 during the second episode.
This latest development has prompted some fans to see some of the previously dismissed dating “evidence” in a new light. SM Entertainment and BigHit Music‘s response to the rumors has also fuelled speculation. Both agencies have declined to comment on the matter. Previously, BigHit Music denied dating rumors involving Jungkook and actress Lee Yu Bi in 2021. Similarly, Winter quickly shut down her dating rumors with ENHYPEN’s Jungwon last December.
On December 5, a screenshot from a netizen who claims to have seen Jungkook and Winter together in June went viral.

Winter has also recently been accused of wearing Jungkook’s clothes, a pair of sliders and green shorts, to a fan meeting that took place in October.
The idol has also received backlash for blurting out Jungkook’s name while filming a video with Karina. In the video, they seem to be playing a game where Winter has to guess what Karina was saying. As Karina said a name, Winter said, “Jeon Jungkook”suddenly and without using honorifics.
