BTS‘s Jungkook may currently be fulfilling his mandatory military service, but as promised, there remains pre-filmed content for ARMYs to enjoy.
The latest content was filmed during his trip to New York City, during which Spotify officially presented him with his Billions Club silver plaque.
Jungkook’s debut solo single, “SEVEN,” featuring American rapper Latto, hit one billion Spotify streams on October 30, 2023, and simultaneously solidified itself as the fastest song to reach one billion streams in Spotify’s history.
To celebrate the accomplishment, Jungkook sat down to enjoy some of his favorite dishes from the silver “platter” he was presented with.
Check out his favorite dishes below!
1. Tuna Kimbap
Jungkook’s first choice was tuna kimbap, which he stated he loved. He placed his first dish in the center of the Billions Club plaque.
2. Gochujang Shrimp Crackers
The BTS maknae‘s second choice was gochujang shrimp crackers. Jungkook shared he had seen spicy shrimp crackers in Korea, but he hadn’t seen a gochujang variety until he arrived in the U.S. and was curious to try the new flavor.
3. Soy Sauce Eggs
Jungkook’s third dish was soy sauce eggs, which he admitted he hadn’t been able to eat very often.
4. Haitai Homerun Ball
He had a few suggestions for those who might be interested in trying his fourth choice. To enjoy Haitai Homerun Ball, which are chocolate-filled biscuits, Jungkook suggests using an air fryer to “make [them] taste better” or eating them frozen.
According to Jungkook, you can’t go wrong with the classic Korean stir-fried dish, japchae (sweet potato starch noodles), also commonly referred to as Korean glass noodles.
6. Banana Milk
As many ARMYs know, Jungkook isn’t shy about his love for banana milk. He explained that he wasn’t able to enjoy many delicious foods growing up, but he has fond memories of indulging in his craving for banana milk after long days at practice.
Jungkook specifically chose Castella sponge cake as one of his favorite dishes because it pairs so well with his beloved banana milk.
