The First And The Most Recent Songs Each BTS Member Worked On As A Producer

Another day of BTS being all-rounders.

Apart from their irresistible charm, humor, and stage presence, BTS are also very well-known for being very involved musicians. Every member has shown a keen knack for being a part of the making process of their songs. Most of the time, they have done so through composing and lyric writing, but all the BTS members also have producing credits to their names!

Here are the first and the most recent songs produced by each of them:

1. Jin

Jin debuted as a producer with his 2019 song “Tonight,” which was released as a part of that year’s Festa celebrations. He co-produced the track with Slow Rabbit.

Though this song was harrowingly beautiful, nothing could have prepared the world for the smash hit he produced most recently. In 2020, Jin released the song “Super Tuna,” where he was also credited as a co-producer along with BUMZU. Though he released the track as a joke, it actually went crazy viral and even charted on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart.

2. Suga

The first song that Suga got his producing credits for was “518-062” (2010). The track was performed by the hip-hop crew D-Town and Suga was a member of it under the alias of Gloss. The song was based on the historical Gwangju uprising.

It’s been over a decade since then, and Suga has become the most sought-after producer not only in the K-Pop industry but also overseas. His most recent track as a producer was a global hit called “That That” (2022). He also participated in the song as a rapper along with PSY.

3. J-Hope

J-Hope also attained his first producing credit before debuting. In 2012, he featured in a song called “Animal” with Jo Kwon. He was also the co-producer of the track, along with Avicii, Lauren Dyson, Pdogg, “Hitman” Bang, and Wonderkid.

The latest production credits of J-Hope are “Airplane,” “Base Line,” and “P.O.P” from his mixtape “Hope World” (2018).

4. RM

RM too got his first producing credits before debuting as a BTS member. He participated as a co-producer in GLAM‘s songs “Party” and “I Like That,” both of which were 2012 releases. GLAM was a senior group of BTS at BigHit, and as trainees, all BTS members were quite involved in the activities of the group, both as musicians, backup dancers, and music video extras.

The latest songs that RM has participated in as a producer include “Moonchild,” “Bad Bye,” and “Forever Rain” from his 2018 mixtape Mono.

5. Jimin

Jimin first worked as a producer on the unofficial track “Promise,” which was released on SoundCloud in 2019.

His most recent production credit is for the 2020 song “Friends” from BE.

6. V

V’s first song as a producer is an OST called “Sweet Night” for the K-Drama Itaewon Class, which was released in 2018.

The last song he participated in as a producer is “Snow Flower.” It was an unofficial song he released with Peakboy.

7. Jungkook

The first ever song Jungkook worked on as a co-producer was “Love Is Not Over” from the 2015 BTS album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1.

His most recent work as a producer is an unofficial song called “My You” that was released as a part of the 2022 Festa celebrations.
