5 Pre-Debut TWICE Cameos in JYP Music Videos That You Might Have Missed
While we know that a few members of TWICE had sizable roles in previous JYP music videos prior to debuting in TWICE (such as Sana in GOT7‘s “A” and Nayeon in GOT7’s “Girls Girls Girls”), but it turns out that actually bunch of TWICE members made cameo appearances in various JYP music videos when they were still trainees!
However, their roles were usually so small that the moments they were featured in were very “blink and you miss it” moments.
So we’ve compiled the five pre-debut TWICE cameo appearances that you might have missed!
1) Jeongyeon – GOT7’s “Girls Girls Girls” (2014)
Essentially acting as the underground club “bouncer” when it comes to letting Nayeon into the club, Jeongyeon is almost unrecognizable with her long hair! She does appear in a few scenes later in the music video, but most of the focus is around Nayeon (as she plays “main girl”) so Jeongyeon’s scenes are easily missable if you’re not looking for them.
2) Tzuyu and Momo – GOT7’s “Stop Stop It” (2014)
The definition of “blink and you miss it” cameos, Momo and Tzuyu are only in “Stop Stop It” for one scene that runs less then a 15 seconds. Dahyun (who plays the love interest) and Chaeyoung (who plays her friend) are featured much more prominently.
3) Mina (twice!), Nayeon, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, and Momo – Miss A’s “Only You” (2015)
A few months before Sixteen would begin airing, a majority of TWICE would end up cameoing in Miss A‘s “Only You” music video as “random people”. Fun fact is that Mina shows up twice in the video! Mina first appears near the beginning when Suzy is singing her verse alone on the street and then would later appear in the end of the music video in the party scene with other TWICE members.
4) Mina, Momo, Sana – Junho’s “Feel” [KR Version] (2014)
Sana, Mina, and Momo would cameo as the friends of Junho‘s love interest in the Korean music video of his song “Feel”. They are only in one short scene, so it’s easy to miss them since the scene is smack dab in the middle of the music video.
5) Dahyun, Momo, Mina – Wooyoung’s “Rose” [JPN Version V.2] (2015)
A month or so before Sixteen would begin broadcasting, Dahyun, Momo, and Mina would cameo as Wooyoung‘s back up singers in his “Rose” V.2 music video. The reason why the girls are in maid outfits? The “story” music video takes place in a hotel (though the girls aren’t seen in that one)!
