3. Piece Of Your Mind
This 2020 series features an opposites attract romance between an AI programmer and a classical music recording engineer.

The series was “sad and moody” rather than the “fun and quirky” story that one viewer had been expecting, leading them to drop the series. However, another viewer pointed out that it’s the perfect show for anyone who is looking for something on the moodier, more heartfelt side.

5. When Life Gives You Tangerines
IU and Park Bo Gum star in this March Netflix romance drama that’s set on Jeju Island in the 1950s. IU plays the younger version of the female lead–a free spirit who dreams of becoming a poet–while Park Bo Gum plays the younger version of the male lead–her steadfast secret admirer.

Although this series has been widely well-received, some viewers have found it difficult to get through without taking breaks (to avoid dropping it). If you’re looking for a lighthearted watch, this might not be the show for you. It’s a show that doesn’t shy away from heartbreak or tragedy.
