Mnet Opens Nominations for “ROAD TO MAX” – Here Are 10+ Artists Fans Think Would Be Perfect

Which artists would you like to see get a special stage?

On April 21st, Mnet announced a new reality series, ROAD TO MAX.

Although initially, the only information Mnet gave about the new show was that the show is centered around fandoms of groups promoting their favorite artists…

The concept was met with understandable backlash as fans thought the series would be promoting fan wars.

And some fans were worried that idols under big companies with large fanbases would be at a significant advantage since the show seemed fandom-based.

As of April 26th, Mnet officially opened voting for recommendations for the show.

And in the specified criteria for fans to recommend artists, Mnet established that any artist can be nominated that has already debuted and has “no experience of winning 1st place in M COUNTDOWN.”

Mnet’s website also specifies that there will be voting for the nominated artists, and the artist with the most votes will have a special stage for ROAD TO M COUNTDOWN.

There will be five rounds of ROAD TO M COUNTDOWN where all five winning artists will receive a “seed ticket” for ROAD TO KCON, where they will get another special stage.

The winning artist of ROAD TO KCON will then go on to a ROAD TO MAMA special stage, getting the chance to appear on a special stage for MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards).
