10 Times NCT’s Doyoung Dressed Like He Was In A 90’s Sitcom — Literally

Trends always come back.

NCT‘s Doyoung might have been born in 1996, but he has been spotted in many outfits similar to Korean youth in the 90s. Looking at stills from the 1996 Korean sitcom 3 Boys and 3 Girls about college students, Doyoung looks like he could blend right in! Here are ten times he wore a similar style to Shin Dong Yup on the show.

1. A dark zip-up over a white tee

A pretty basic outfit, but perfect for any lazy student.

Doyoung wears almost the same outfit but in navy.

2. Grey sweats

You can’t leave out the quintessential grey hoodie.

A staple for every student indeed.

3. A striped collared shirt

Shin Dong Yup looks so good in it!

A perfect match.

4. Denim jacket over white tee

Another classic style.

Shin Dong Yup wears a slightly darker wash.

5. A navy Polo

The show used quite a lot of Ralph Lauren Polo back then.

Coincidentally, that is one of Doyoung’s favorite brands.

6. A striped tee

Another basic look that is probably in every youth’s closet.

We can’t get over how fresh Shin Dong Yup looks.

7. The Polo bear

It has been around for ages, huh.

They even wore the exact same red outfit bear variation. Doyoung’s comes with a hood though.

8. The block stripes

They’re both from Polo this time as well.

Doyoung wears his in yellow and navy.

9. The denim shirt

Just a little different from the denim jacket we introduced earlier.

Again, both men wear denim shirts from Polo! Doyoung’s seems to be in a darker wash. He also wears his with a white tee inside, compared to Shin Dong Yup’s grey.

10. The preppy knit sweater and collared shirt combination

Shin Dong Yup chose a grey polo knit.

Doyoung went with a cuter white-colored top and updated the look with a beret.

It looks like fashion trends really never completely die down. They’re bound to make a comeback eventually!
