12 Times Sasaengs Creepily Interrupted Idols’ Live Broadcasts

K-Pop idols are loved and appreciated by fans worldwide. However, when a fan crosses the line into stalker territory, things can quickly become disturbing. Often referred to as “sasaengs” or “sasaeng fans,” these obsessive individuals are willing to invade idols’ privacy and acquire their personal information. This intrusive behavior can be extremely damaging and unsafe to the artist’s personal lives.

Sometimes, sasaengs can go as far as getting an idol’s phone number from unknown sources and call them during live streams to check if they have the correct number. When this happens, idols can become extremely uncomfortable, try to ignore the situation, or even call out the stalkers. Here are a few moments when sasaengs interrupted live streams.

1. Jungkook (BTS)

Jungkook shared that he was scared when the phone calls kept coming in during his livestream from a hotel room.

2. Cha Eunwoo (ASTRO)

Eunwoo’s stream cut out for a second due to the sasaeng’s phone call. He tried to brush it off but fans could easily spot his discomfort.

3. Jimin (BTS)

During a livestream from Chicago, Jimin’s phone kept buzzing. He told fans to stop calling him.

4. Jungkook (BTS)

Jungkook boldly called out sasaeng fans who kept calling him.

5. Taeyong (NCT)

Taeyong’s first reaction to the call was to think about changing his phone number.

6. Baekhyun (EXO)
