These girl group stars may be seriously dedicated professionals on stage, but sometimes they get into the most ridiculous situations off stage. Just look at these 10 moments that are so unbelievable, they’re downright hilarious.

1. Irene (Red Velvet)

Red Velvet‘s leader Irene may be known for her serious aura, but in reality, she has numerous hilarious moments under her belt. Take, for instance, the time she gifted a staff member with Apple AirPods for Christmas. What’s so funny about that? Well, when the member of staff opened the box, they found it had been stuffed with two beansprouts instead!

Of course, Irene probably followed up the gag gift with a real treat. After all, last month she gifted all eight of her backup dancers with their own pairs of AirPods Pro along with sweet, handwritten messages.

2. Jennie (BLACKPINK)

Running Man clips are always hilarious, but one of the moments viewers went the most crazy over was a May 2018 episode featuring BLACKPINK‘s Jennie. Emboldened with confidence during a game, Jennie convinced her teammate to enter a horror room, reassuring them that they’d do fine together. However, despite her bravado, Jennie soon came out bawling in fear!

3. Krystal (f(x))

In an episode of Jessica & Krystal—the show f(x)‘s Krystal shot with her former Girls’ Generation member sister, Jessica—Krystal parked her car before heading into a nearby café. Sounds boring? You’ll change your mind once you see how she somehow parked her car in the middle of the road!

4. Nayeon (TWICE)

When TWICE showed off their cooking skills on this show, Nayeon set out on a very specific mission: cutting strawberries perfectly. But while Nayeon was super focused on doing her best at fruit-cutting, fellow member Jeongyeon pointed out how badly the strawberries were actually chopped. To everyone’s surprise, Nayeon silently confessed that she had accidentally been cutting the fruit using the knife upside down!

5. Taeyeon (Girls’ Generation)

Girls’ Generation legendary main vocal Taeyeon has many skills beyond singing. One of the funniest? Her bug killing skill, which has been circulating around the K-Pop side of social media since she showed it off. This clip of Taeyeon excitedly clapping and accidentally killing a mosquito while at it brought laughs to everyone when it surfaced, and it probably will do for years to come.

6. Yeri (Red Velvet)

During an episode of Secret Unnie with actress Han Chae Young, Red Velvet’s Yeri decided to indulge in a little alcoholic tipple. But within moments of drinking the tasty beverage, Yeri began slurring her words. After downing the cocktail, Han Chae Young worriedly asked Yeri if she was getting drunk, and it definitely seemed like she was. But, staff soon burst Yeri’s bubble after revealing the cocktails were actually non-alcoholic!

7. Sana (TWICE)

While appearing on a variety show, TWICE’s Sana decided to share some stories of her life as a trainee—and one anecdote was particularly hilarious. Unbelievably brazen during her trainee days, Sana revealed she used to pretend she didn’t understand Korean to get away with breaking rules! Sana explained that JYP Entertainment trainees would get scolded for eating snacks in the dorm, but whenever Sana was caught out, she’d simply pretend she couldn’t understand the staff chastising her.

8. Siyeon (Dreamcatcher)

Known for their powerful and complex performances, Dreamcatcher always works hard to wow their fans. But all that concentration can sometimes result in hilarious accidents—like the time they were so deep in focus during a performance, they didn’t stop even when member Siyeon‘s extensions flew off of her head! Once they stopped dancing, the group couldn’t help but burst into a laughing fit.

9. Shuhua ((G)I-DLE)

During one of (G)I-DLE‘s reality show episodes, Shuhua was tasked with eating a bowl of noodles while riding a VR rollercoaster. It may not sound hilarious—until she see that Shuhua’s fellow members had to create the virtual reality experience themselves! The way they pushed, pulled, and fanned her was so ridiculous, fans haven’t stopped laughing since.

10. Jisoo (BLACKPINK)

Last but not least, what would a list of hilarious girl group moments be without BLACKPINK’s Jisoo? Of all her funny moments, the time she confessed to a paper eating addiction has to be one of the most ridiculously unbelievable. She revealed she used to chew on paper all the time and couldn’t get enough of it, but naturally, her mom wanted to discourage the bad habit. But Jisoo just went to even more unbelievable lengths to keep it up, from sneaking newspaper into the bathroom to attempting to eat toilet paper!
