Some of K-Pop’s biggest acts gathered at the 40th Golden Disc Awards in Taipei on January 10 to find out who dominated the Korean charts last year. With awards predominantly based on sales and streams, the ceremony also introduced a brand new Daesang category — Artist of the Year — for 2026.
