Recently, the Han Moon Cheol TV YouTube channel released a video of an accident in a parking lot this past June, which garnered much attention.

The mother, who belatedly saw her baby being hit by the car, shouted at the driver, but the car drove away.

At the time, the driver claimed they didn’t see the baby or feel the car jerk. However, the video showed the car jerking twice, leaving tire marks on the child’s back. Fortunately, the child suffered no major injuries other than bruising.

The driver was questioned by the police about the accident. However, due to a lack of prosecution, the investigation was closed before charges were filed.

Attorney Han Moon Cheol gave his opinion on this incident.

“It is truly a stroke of luck that the child wasn’t seriously injured. Holding the child’s hand or carrying them when walking in a parking lot is best.

Although the driver may not have seen the child, their claim that they didn’t feel a bump could be a lie. It would be a good idea to file an objection to the investigation and conduct a lie detector test.”

Netizens showed a mixed response on who was at fault.

  • “How were they driving that they couldn’t see the child?”
  • “Crazy b*tch…that little kid..better be thankful they survived.”
  • “It might be hard to see the child if they are that small. Those parking lots have many bumps, so they might not have thought anything of the bumps.”
  • “The mother is at fault, but the driver is crazy.”
  • “The parent is crazy. Is there any way to report them for neglect?”
  • “It’s a miracle the child is alive. Both the mother and driver need to be punished.”
