All Korean men are required to enlist in the military by a certain age, generally believed to be around 28 or 29. However, Yunseong is only 24, meaning he would have several years before he would have to enlist.

Many expressed shock over the news, questioning why he was enlisting so soon.

Along with the confusion, many have expressed anger over DRIPPIN’s current situation.

DRIPPIN’ have been inactive since their last release in August 2024, Weekend. This was the group’s fifth single album, with their last mini-album being release in 2022.

Woollim was previously criticized for having its artists only release single albums over the last few years, rather than going for at least mini-albums.

Another point of criticism has been Woollim’s silence on member Minseo’s alleged relationship. The idol has been rumored to be in a relationship with a Chinese influencer who actively includes him in her social media content.
