In an episode of MBC’s entertainment show Extreme 84, which aired on the 11th, the Extreme Crew embarked on a tour of the Russell Glacier alongside the participants after arriving at the North Pole.
The Russell Glacier appears at the 15km mark of the Arctic marathon. On this day, the organizers gave the runners a chance to explore the Russell Glacier.
Kian84 said, “They said they would show us the glacier, but I had no idea where the glacier was,” adding, “It felt like I was in Yangpyeong after coming here. They said there was a glacier, but I wondered where exactly it was,” showing his anticipation.
Following the other runners, the Extreme Crew boarded the bus and calmly listened to the guide’s explanation. After all the explanations ended, Kian84 asked Kangnam, “What did he say?” to which Kangnam replied, “I didn’t hear it.”
Then Kian84 said in disbelief, “Weren’t you in an international school?” Kangnam responded, “I learned Korean in Hawaii.” Kian84 continued, “Why would you learn Korean in Hawaii? Didn’t you attend classes at school?”
Kangnam confessed, “That’s probably why I was kicked out. I got kicked out five times because I wasn’t good at studying,” adding, “I only completed elementary school. I don’t have a diploma.” Surprised, Kian 84 asked, “You only finished elementary school?” and was at a loss for words.
