2PM’s Junho Snaps Pics With Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, Bringing Us Back To The Good Old Days Of 2nd Gen K-Pop
For those of you newer to K-Pop or if you joined the fandom in recent years, the 2nd generation of K-Pop saw two hottest groups, Girls’ Generation and 2PM, constantly paired together. From the late 2000s to early 2010s, they worked on various CFs…
…to catalogue shots for school uniforms…
…and of course, collaborative performances!
They were literally the bluechip of every single music show and variety broadcast. It’s no wonder that the two groups became fast friends. However, fans haven’t seen them together in recent years with the girls and boys all off on solo projects. Most of 2PM have also only just discharged from the army.
Fans were thrilled when two members of these OG idols were cast as the MCs for 2021’s MBC Gayo Daejeon. Junho and YoonA made sure to commemorate the event with cute photos together as well. YoonA updated her personal Instagram with the shots.
Here, Junho grabs onto YoonA’s sleeve as a pun on his recent drama, The Red Sleeve. Smart!
She wittily captioned it “Oh my, my red sleeve” as well and tagged him. Many comments praised her for helping a fellow actor-slash-idol promote his drama. Others squealed at how close their heads were!
Not one to leave people out, YoonA also posted a shot with the other MC, Jang Sung Kyu.
We love to see close friendships between idols, and especially such a nostalgic one at that.
