Recently, a female idol announced her solo debut after an extended hiatus, but shocked netizens with her surprising sexy concept!
In 2016, STARSHIP Entertainment debuted WJSN (Cosmic Girls), a group with a concept based on the 12 star signs. The group’s early releases had a “magical girl” vibe, which is also evident in their visuals.
This worked for the group, as there were a number of members who were underage, including Dayoung, who was 16 and the youngest prior to Yeonjung‘s addition to the group.
Throughout the time WJSN were active, Dayoung’s visuals leaned more sweet, with her round cheeks and large eyes making concepts meant to be lean sexier still have a cute edge.
WJSN have been on hiatus for several years, meaning it was a surprise when Dayoung’s official solo debut was announced. Set to be released on September 9, You Gonna Love Me, Right? is a digital single and teasers have already been posted.
In the teaser video, aptly titled “Body”, Dayoung dances with a male dancer and solo, showing off her skills in a sexy way.
