However, sadly, it seems an idol’s business that has not long been established has shut its doors.

In 2024, NCT‘s Taeyong enlisted for his military service, which he has since been released from. Like all idols entering the service, Taeyong had to shave his head before his training began, something he documented on his Instagram account. However, the idol’s cut was much closer to his head than anticipated, closer to a true bald buzzcut.

He shared that member Jungwoo was the one who began cutting his hair, but clipped it too close to the scalp, leading to the look. From there, many fans joked about Taeyong beng Jungwoo’s “Pure and Innocent Salon”‘s first customer (and last).

The jokes continued as other members either enlisted or got short hair cuts, with fans labeling them as either going to Jungwoo’s salon or not.

In December 2025, Jungwoo began his own military enlistment, joining member Jaehyun in the military band. Recently, the idol was spotted at his first post-training event alongside Jaehyun and GOT7’s Yugyeom.

…many couldn’t help but notice his hair cut, which was very different than the other two idols’, resulting in the joke that the “Pure and Innocent Salon” had now filed for bankruptcy.

Jungwoo’s facecard, however, remains unchanged and he has survived other “questionable” haircuts, so no worries here!
