3rd Gen Idol’s “Dangerously Low” Body Fat Percentage Raises Alarm
In the world of fitness, there are several ways that individuals monitor their overall health and wellness.
One of the most popular ways to determine a body’s fitness is through BMI index or body composition testing, which measures not only weight but also skeletal and muscle mass.

Recently, an idol’s body fat percentage shocked many netizens with how low it is.
Over the last few years, NCT‘s Jeno has transformed physically, putting on muscle and cutting or losing fat. The result is an impressive figure that has literally walked the runway and continues to impress as he promotes.

In content published on August 25, NCT DREAM had a cozy time in someone’s home and had a portion of the video that featured them answering questions about themselves. At one point, the group were asked if Jeno had a body fat percentage of 8% and each said it was incorrect.
Jeno responded that it was false and that his body fat percentage was 3%.
According to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and other sources, healthy body fat percentages range from 12% to 20% for men and 20% to 30% for women. Other idols, like SHINee’s Minho have low body fat percentages, but 3% seems to be the lowest an idol has shared.
As a result, some have shared concern for the idol, worried for his health.
THIS IS EXTREMELY FUCKING DANGEROUS ACTUALLY!!! LIKE WORRYINGLY DANGEROUS!! do NOT do this at home or even ASPIRE to have this low of body fat! https://t.co/0KgeuqXfey

From what I read 3% is considered not healthy for a long-term state, but I'm sure he has his personal doctor and stuff. But still, 3% is insane how he did that 🤯 https://t.co/dvROGgADeq
