Actress Um Ji Won directly addressed the so-called “butt padding controversy.”
On the 19th, a video was released on Um Ji Won’s YouTube channel. In the video, Um Ji Won held a Q&A session answering questions from subscribers that they had been curious about. She candidly shared her honest charm, speaking freely about everything from her MBTI and views on dating to the recent “butt padding controversy.”
Her MBTI is ENFP, and she evaluated her strengths as “being positive, having good stamina, and being smart. I’m quick to understand and recognize situations.” As for weaknesses, she honestly admitted, “I have a quick temper,” which drew laughter.
Regarding her ideal type, she frankly said, “Whether or not you can kiss is important.” She then revealed, “My last kiss was last year,” sparking curiosity, but quickly clarified that she was referring to a kissing scene in a work, which added humor.
When asked if she was dating, she sighed and laughed, saying, “I don’t know who I should be seeing.” She added, “I definitely prefer younger men. Older men have never hit on me. It’s not that I’m that capable, but I think all older men are married.”
Towards the end of the video, Um Jiwon also read comments. Specifically, regarding the “butt padding” and “hip padding” suspicions on a dress fitting video for an awards ceremony, she wittily responded, “I saw the comments. But sorry, it’s not padding, sorry,” which elicited laughter. She continued, “I really work hard and exercise to maintain that line,” adding, “I’ll show a proof video on YouTube soon,” raising expectations.
Previously, Um Ji Won gained attention for her perfect dress fit when attending the Asia Artist Awards 2025 (AAA) at the Kaohsiung National Stadium last December.
Afterward, her agency ABM Company released a video showing Um Ji Won personally trying on four dresses for the awards ceremony.
Um Ji Won flawlessly pulled off a variety of styles, from a simple black see-through dress to a blue dress with a cutout bust line, as well as white and green dresses, showcasing an elegant figure and silhouette.
