In 2023, the sequel to Girls Planet 999 was announced, this time aiming to debut a boy group. Boys Planet quickly gained popularity as viewers tuned in each week and picked their favorite trainees.

Ultimately, the top trainees were selected to form ZEROBASEONE.

One thing that differed from previous survival programs was the freedom of expression many of the trainees showed, with some not being afraid to showcase talents and skills aligned more with queerness. Queer viewers dubbed the show “Gay Planet” due to this, and many commented on the heavy themes of “bromance” found in the program.

Recently, a contestant on the show hinted at the themes being more than that.

Many of the contestants remained popular even after the show, resulting in spin-off groups being formed including the now-disbanded TOZ.  Member Hart (Haruto) has since been active on social media, including TikTok where he has gone live and chatted with fans.

During one such live, he spoke about being on Boys Planet and dropped some unexpected allegations.

Many seeing the clip were more surprised to see Haruto speaking in Spanish but also expressed their thoughts on what was said.

At the same time, while what he said is just alleged, some felt that him allegedly outing the other contestants was not something to laugh about.
