Actor Kim Min Seok has lost his father. His father passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 57.
It was reported that Kim Min Seok is preparing the funeral in deep grief. The wake has been set up at Pohang Citizens’ Funeral Hall, with the funeral procession scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on the 7th. The burial site will be at Pohang Municipal Crematorium.
Kim Min Seok first came into the spotlight through Mnet’s audition program Superstar K, and later made his official acting debut in the drama Shut Up! Flower Boy Band. He went on to appear in Aftermath and Who Are You – School 2015, and gained wider popularity through dramas such as The Beauty Inside, Descendants of the Sun, Age of Youth 2, Because This Is My First Life, and Lovestruck in the City, establishing himself as a trusted actor.
Recently, he has been active in Mr. Plankton and Shark: The Storm, and is currently filming tvN’s drama Typhoon Company alongside Lee Junho.
