It was recently reported through numerous media outlets that Kim Soo Hyun would be receiving an impressively high salary for his new drama, That Night. According to news reports, Kim Soo Hyun is guaranteed to receive a shocking salary of ₩500 million KRW (about $440,000 USD) per episode. This number is only anticipated to increase due to the revenue from advertisements, such as copyright sales, product placements and more. If these reports are true, Kim Soo Hyun would become the highest paid actor in the history of South Korean dramas.
The news of the actor’s salary have been making constant headlines since it went public earlier today. Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist released a statement addressing the reports, stating that “they are unable to confirm the reports regarding his salary.”

That Night received favorable attention when it was revealed that it would be based on the British television series, Criminal Justice.
