Actor Lee Dong Gun’s New Girlfriend Reported To Be Fellow Actress 16 Years Younger

Earlier, it was reported that actor Lee Dong Gun has found love once again, four years after his split with ex-wife and actress Jo Yoon Hee. Since then, SPOTV News has claimed in an exclusive report that the divorced actor’s new girlfriend is also another actress.

SPOTV alleged, on May 29, 2025 (KST), that Lee Dong Gun is dating actress Kang Hae Rim, overcoming a 16-year age gap. According to the report, the couple has already been spotted multiple times around Gangnam, Seoul—seemingly not too concerned about being seen or having their relationship known.

Lee Dong Gun is reported to have been seen placing his hand on Kang Hae Rim’s waist or shoulder and even holding her hand as the two walked, unafraid to be public with his affection toward her. In fact, SPOTV added that some insiders were already aware of Lee Dong Gun’s new love interest: The couple has actually been an “open secret” in the entertainment industry for a while now, as the two weren’t trying to hide their relationship.

Still, both parties involved remain tight-lipped in response to all the press coverage about the romance. A representative from Lee Dong Gun’s agency, WPLUS, told SPOTV, “It’s a private matter and so it’s difficult to confirm.” Likewise, Kang Hae Rim’s agency, Andmarq, also commented that they cannot confirm anything.
