Actor Woo Chang Soo Passes Away, His Final Post Sparks Heartbreak
Actor Woo Chang Soo has passed away after a long battle with illness. He was 51.

According to reports from the entertainment industry, Woo Chang Soo died on January 16. News of his passing has left many fans and colleagues shocked, especially as his final social media post has resurfaced and drawn renewed attention.

Just two weeks before his death, Woo shared a short update on his personal social media account. In the post, he revealed that he had been debating whether to shave his head due to his condition.
I spent all day debating whether to shave my head, even charged up the clippers and posted in the family group chat that I was going to do it. Then my younger sister scolded me, so I changed my mind and just cut off my ponytail instead.
After my little DIY haircut, I wrapped up the day by making what I thought was a nourishing meal — bean sprouts with dried pollack and sea squirt — to take care of my body.
I really need to take better care of myself. Get it together, Chang Soo.

The results from an expensive comprehensive health checkup came back, and I was referred for detailed examinations at a major university hospital.
I’ll get proper treatment and make a great comeback. Stay healthy.
