Soon after this, reports emerged claiming that a Chinese fashion brand that had planned to film a commercial with Jun Ji Hyun in Seoul had completely canceled the shoot due to the backlash.

On September 23, KST, Jun Ji Hyun’s representatives told SPOTV News that the report was untrue. They clarified that the filming schedule for the brand was simply postponed, not canceled.
The commercial shoot was canceled due to local circumstances, not because of the drama, and the rumor that the contract was canceled because of the show is completely untrue.
