Actress Song Ha Yoon’s legal representative, law firm Jium, has issued a statement in response to whistleblower A, who previously claimed to be a victim of school bullying and announced plans for further legal action.

The victim previously claimed that Song’s side had requested a public apology and admittance to a false allegation. In response, Song’s law firm claimed that her agency had covered all of A’s expenses to return to Korea in order to facilitate a smooth investigation.
“The reason A decided to enter Korea was due to Song Ha Yoon’s side taking the unusual step of covering all expenses — including airfare, hotel, and transportation — to ensure A’s prompt return and participation in the investigation. We are fully prepared to verify each allegation raised since A’s entry into Korea and respond accordingly.”
According to A, he first disclosed Song Ha Yoon’s alleged school bullying during an appearance on JTBC’s Incident Room in April 2024. For nearly a year, Song Ha Yoon’s side remained silent, before abruptly filing a lawsuit against him in March 2025.
Even after this, A said he attempted a peaceful resolution and even submitted a written termination proposal, but Song Ha-yoon’s side allegedly demanded a “public apology letter containing a false confession.” When he refused, they filed an additional complaint against him for false accusation on July 22.
