ADOR Releases Updated Statement Regarding NJZ (NewJeans) Hanni, Minji, And Danielle
It was previously announced that the members of NJZ (NewJeans) have chosen to return to ADOR. While ADOR has already announced Hyein and Haerin returning to the company, they have expressed their caution regarding Minji, Hanni, and Danielle.
Previously on November 12, 2025, ADOR claimed to be “confirming [the three’s] true intentions.” After completing that verification process, they released an updated statement on November 13, 2025, through iMBC Entertainment that they are “coordinating individual meeting schedules with the members,” and that they would “do their best to ensure smooth discussions.”
Last November, NewJeans held an emergency press conference, claiming that their exclusive contract had been terminated due to ADOR’s breach of contract and began pursuing independent activities. ADOR refuted this, asserting that the contract remained valid, and filed a lawsuit asking the court to confirm its validity. Considering that the main lawsuit would take a long time, ADOR also filed an injunction request to prevent the members’ independent activities.
After an intense legal battle, ADOR emerged victorious. As a result, NewJeans was forced to choose between filing an appeal or returning to ADOR. Ultimately, with all members announcing their return just one day before the appeal deadline, the conflict between the two sides has come to a close for now. You may read more about it below.
