Fans who remember Song Ji A as the adorable daughter on Dad! Where Are We Going? will be surprised to see how much she’s grown — and what she’s achieved. Back on the show, she was simply an adorable toddler. We saw her grow up from kindergarten, to elementary school.

Now, in 2025, Ji A, the daughter of former national soccer player Song Jong Kook and actress Park Yeon Soo, has officially become a regular member of the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA).

On August 6, Park Yeon Soo proudly shared the news on social media, posting a photo of Ji A holding a congratulatory card that read, “Congratulations to pro Song Ji A on becoming a regular member!”

Park reflected on Ji A’s journey as well.

“She was in elementary school when she left her entertainment agency and said she wanted to become a golfer. She joined a golf academy in her first year of middle school. I still remember her very first competition at Solago CC, where she shot just under 100. And now, six years later, she’s become a certified pro — at the very same course. It’s unbelievable.”

Song Ji A, who once captured hearts nationwide as a child star, is now being celebrated for her dedication and transformation into a professional athlete. After her parents’ divorce, she was raised by her mother, along with her younger brother Ji Wook. From variety show darling to rising golf pro, Ji A’s inspiring path proves she’s just getting started.
