Like the first SMTOWN LIVE concert in Korea, SM Entertainment‘s concert in Tokyo was full of fun moments, many of which went viral. WayV‘s Xiaojun, for one, gained attention for the major visuals he served in his pink ponytail.

Along with Karina, NingNing herself shared an adorably awkward moment with Xiaojun and the members of WayV, leaving fans highly amused at their antics.

But of course, aespa was mainly there to impress. The members’ performance left little doubt as to their vocal talent after they proved that their mics were on .

NingNing in particular is gaining some well-deserved praise for her vocal performance with SHINee‘s Onew.

Together they sang “Way,” and absolutely floored everyone with their sheer talent. As SHINee’s legendary main vocalist, Onew is no stranger to praise for his vocals. In past SMTOWN LIVE concerts, Onew sang with f(x)‘s Luna and Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany, so it’s no surprise that this year aespa’s main vocalist NingNing took the stage with him.

Fans were excited to finally see these two pair up—and for good reason!

NingNing proved that, despite being the less experienced artist, her live vocals are second to none.

Fans praised how well her voice sounded with Onew’s…

…as well as how much an all-rounder NingNing really is. Aespa may be the maknae of SM Entertainment, but NingNing is already a legendary vocalist in her own right!
